Paris Gets A Little Geeky

Stumbling upon things randomly is one of my favourite aspects of travel. As I was waiting for Shakespeare and Company to open so I could add another edition of The Great Gatsby to my collection I wandered the streets around the area and came across one that was full of comic book shops.

Where was I? The Comic Book Shop district? Perhaps.

A walk down the section of Rue Dante between Saint Germain Boulevard and Rue Galande will fulfil your inner geek dreams, whether that be for French comics like Marsoupilami, American Super Heroes like Batman and Spider-Man, pop culture collectibles such as the large Thunderbird 2 model I saw in one shop window, or even the more recently popular Japanese Manga.

Paris really does offer something for everyone.
