Roving Fringe project to receive guidance from New Zealand Expert.

Live In The Hive, an interactive, roving theatre piece revolving around the life of worker bees, conceived by students of Swinburne TAFE’s Diploma Of Theatre Arts course, will receive guidance from one of New Zealand’s top puppeteers Tim Denton.

With over 30 years of experience, Mr Denton is one of the founding partners of AboutFace Productions, a highly regarded production company not only in Australia and New Zealand, but throughout the world. He has worked on parades and festivals as well as for television and stage, creating both small and (over 3 metres tall) large scale puppets and other visually entertaining scenes.

Live In The Hive is set to open October 6 as part of the 2009 Melbourne Fringe Festival. More about Tim Denton can be found on the AboutFace Productions website.
