Sean Bryan
Sean Bryan is the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of McCann North America, and ECD of Global Brands, a position he has held since 2020. In this role, he has been instrumental in leading creative strategies across the agency’s North American operations. Bryan graduated from Harvard University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Fine Arts. Following his graduation, he began his career in advertising at JWT, eventually joining DDB Chicago, where he served as a Creative Director. In 2012, Sean assumed the role of Co-CCO at McCann NY. Under his leadership, McCann NY experienced an unparalleled streak of new business, organic growth and creative excellence adding accounts like Microsoft, Lockheed Martin, State Street Global Advisors, Verizon, Fuji/Instax, QUALCOMM, SAS, US Bank, USPS, and more. Throughout his career, his work has not only garnered numerous creative awards but has also set benchmarks for creativity and effectiveness in advertising. Sean played a pivotal role in the agency’s award-winning campaigns at the Cannes Lions Festival, winning over 150 Lions, including 9 Grand Prix, and 2 Titanium Lions. In 2019, Sean was honored by Campaign US as Creative Person of the year. While Sean continues to lead many new business efforts for McCann across North America, winning 4 new accounts in the last 12 months, he has continued to influence the creative direction of McCann. Notably, he has been involved in promoting and nurturing new talent within the agency, ensuring that McCann remains at the forefront of the advertising industry.
